With the plethora of software that are available in the market, it is little surprise that people wonder which software is beneficial for them and which one isn't. Same is the case, when they come across a data recovery software. These software recover deleted data. But isn't it possible to recover deleted data by selecting 'Recover' from 'Recycle Bin'. Yes it is possible! But what happens if a particular file is no longer residing in your 'Recycle Bin'. Then how can you recover. Or what if your deleted file never found its way into the 'Recycle Bin'. Even then, files can be recovered. There are times when you accidentally delete a few files that you did not intend to. In such situations, it is only a file data recovery software that can aid you.
These software are specifically designed to analyze those parts of the hard drive which are marked for writing data. They read those areas of the hard disk drive which are interpreted as empty by the operating system, when data exists in them. These software also give a preview of recoverable data, so the users can choose which files they want to recover.
There are times when a virus attack, or application malfunction may delete your data in such a manner that you cannot see them on the system, neither in the recycle bin or by performing a search of the system. At other times, system may be formatted, by you or sabotaged. In such a situation too, you need a recovery software by your side to be able to recover your vital data.

Also, professionals know how to handle data properly. So, the software developed by experts is always better, even if they are paid. A company that has good experience in data recovery understands the sensitivity of the data as well. Specialized tools are available for recovering data from different operating systems, like Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.

Columbia Disintegrated with the Crew, But Data Recovery Services Infused Life into Data

Columbia disintegrated over Texas, resulting in death of all the crew members, a short while before conclusion of its mission. The heat and the gases together destroyed all the life, with the exception of a few worms, which were part of a study and survived, and the equipments and devices. Not only were precious lives lost in the shuttle disaster, but also a lot of reports and studies. But wait, not all was lost! Amongst the debris, was a videotape and a damaged disk drive. These two items had survived along with the petri-dish worms. Though the videotape and drive had been severely destroyed, data was not lost, as the area that contained data was unharmed. The data was recovered, and the mission was a success from the research perspective. A lot of data had survived. The crew's hard work had survived. And it could be easily recovered using data recovery services.

The 400 MB Seagate hard drive had been reinforced and fitted in Columbia Space Shuttle, and had survived the explosion. Though the outer part of it was severely destroyed, the data area had been intact, owing to which data was recovered. Hard disk data can survive explosions, burning, water and pressure damage, natural calamities, and more, as long as the data area, i.e., the platter, is unharmed. Normally, most of the data is downloaded, while the experiment proceeds, but the data set saved on the disk had been recently recovered using data recovery.

The recovery job is very tricky and needs expert handling and deep knowledge. Not only that, recovery task needs to be transparent, while maintaining confidentiality of the data. Another important thing is documentation of the recovery job. Storage area of the hard drive is very delicate, and if mishandled, can cause irrevocable data loss. That is why, a company with state-of-the-art tools and high-end techniques should be entrusted with the recovery task. And in cases, which require opening of the hard disk drive, a sterilized clean room with controlled environment is a necessity.

Recovering Windows Vista when the SATA device driver is not enabled in the Windows registry

In the past decade or so, we have seen new advancements in the data storage technologies. In this series, one of the most useful change is the SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) hard drive that has replaced the conventional IDE (Integrated Device Electronics). SATA is faster, lighter, reliable, and supports hot swapping. However, sometimes you may face some issue that may bar you from starting the system. You should look to resolve these problems to recover WindowsWindows data recovery software to get the inaccessible data. using appropriate corrective measures. If the problem is not addressed, then you should use a third-party
Let us assume a situation in which you have changed the BIOS settings in your Windows Vista system. You have modified the SATA mode of the boot drive to use the AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) specification or the RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) features. When you restart the computer, it does not start, and the following error message is displayed:
STOP 0x0000007B INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE”
Cause:
The root cause of this startup issue is that the disk driver in Windows Vista is disabled. You should install and enable the driver before changing the SATA/RAID mode of the boot drive.
Resolution:
To resolve this problem, you should modify the registry entries to enable the AHCI driver in the registry before changing the SATA mode of the boot drive. This can be done using the following steps:
  • Start the computer in Safe mode.
  • Click Start | Run, and type 'regedit' in the Open box and press Enter.
  • Click Continue if the 'User Account Control' box is displayed.
  • Find any of the following registry entries:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Msahci
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\IastorV
  • Right-click 'Start' in the 'Name' column, and click 'Modify'.
  • Type '0' in the 'Value data' box and click OK.
  • Click File | Exit to exit Registry Editor.
  • Restart the system. It should run fine now.
However, if you still are unable to start your system then you should reinstall the operating system after taking the backup of the Windows data. For this purpose, you should recover Windows files with the help of a third-party Window data recovery software. These highly interactive tools are capable of recovering all the files while maintaining the file integrity intact.
