BSOD problems on Windows operating system are very hectic and dealing with one such error requires deep knowledge, time, and efforts. I've recently faced a new kind of BSOD problem looks like:

0x00000116 (0x8811A008, 0x8E414E80, 0x00000000, 0x00000002)
nvlddmkm.sys - address 8D00A680 base at 8D0020000, datestamp *D00A680

After deeply analyzing the dump files what I've found is something unearth to me and never faced previously.
Though, I've followed some quick fixing steps and finally solved this annoying BSOD error caused by NVIDIA®Display driver entitled nvlddmkm.sys, found under the path C:\Windows\system32\drivers.

Error Explanation with causes

Basically, Windows 7 or Vista users may face this error any time while playing games, installing applications or doing any other tasks that uses the latest version of nvlddmkm.sysfile. This file is a part of NVIDIA®Display driver used by Windows in providing quality graphics. When the file nvlddmkm.sys is too old than Windows 7 or Vista needed and thereafter results in BSOD (Blue Scree of Death). You can check this file existing version by going to
C:\windows\system32\drivers folder, right click on the file named nvlddmkm.sys and check the details tab under its properties Window. It should be 7.15.11.5669 or something similar to this.

NVIDIA Display Driver Error

You can edit, modify, or replace this file but doing this doesn't guarantees that the issues are solved. Instead, I'd suggest some easiest ways to solve this problem in complex mode if the most basic one doesn't seems to work.

Methods to permanently solve this error

Sometime, BSOD errors point to nvlddmkm.sys was done in mistake and actual cause behind current BSOD errors is due to of different driver. So, I'd personally suggest updating your entire hardware and software driver using automatic update driver tool. This tool will scan and shows you the most updated/suitable driver for current configured hardware as well as update it in real time. If this tool doesn't work with your system, you can look herefor few more driver update software. Moreover, you can follow this handy tutorial about how to make Windows 7 automatically find new device driverswhich really helps user in avoiding BSOD errors due of faulty or outdated drivers on Windows platform.

If you believe that the BSOD is caused by faulty nvlddmkm.sys driver, you can download and update it manually using Nvidia official drivers download pageor let NVIDIA to automatically find the newest driver for your current video card and thereafter install it. Doing this will most likely to results in issues is permanently solved, if not continue on.

The most effective solution which works very well in my case is by replacing and renaming the driver file to old. Here's how to do this manually:
  1. Click Start > Run > Type C:\windows\system32\drivers and hit enter.
  2. Copy the file nvlddmkm.sys to any other location.
  3. Again right click on the same file (nvlddmkm.sys) and choose rename
  4. Rename it too nvlddmkm.sys.old and paste the old file (nvlddmkm.sys which we had copied in last step) to the same location.
  5. Restart the computer and see if issues are solved permanently.
The computer problems are full of mystery and no one can guarantee that whosoever steps will work for sure. Therefore, if you are facing the same problem and couldn't manage to fix the issue even after trying all of the above mentioned steps, you can post your particular situation here in comment section with full system configuration and I'll try best to help you as much as I can.

iPhone 5 Release Day is Coming Soon Tomorrow

The latest iPhone - iPhone 5 is expected to release on September 12. Yes, it is just tomorrow. So, don't be so excited to have a look at it! And what should we Apple fans expect to it? I found a few rumored iPhone 5 features on the web to share with you all.

1 A larger and taller screen
One of most popular iPhone 5 rumors surfaced again when it is reported that Apple has been testing a taller display for its next handset. iOS development tools are simulated a 640x1,136-pixel-resolution screen, which gave the phone five rows of icons stacked vertically above the dock, instead of the four displayed with iOS 5.

2 A stockpile of SIMs
Wireless carriers in Europe are stockpiling nano-SIM chips in anticipation of Apple including the new technology in the next iteration of the iPhone. Smaller than regular SIM cards, they could allow Apple to include a bigger battery in its next handset.

3 Completely redesigned headphones
The flimsy white earbuds that come bundled with every iPhone are often criticized for their tinny sound and poor durability. But now, there is a video of what it claims to be a brand new set of Apple headphones - allegedly obtained from a Foxconn plant in the country. The headphones, which are reportedly more comfortable than the current model, have the appearance of a "horse's head," with a more-streamlined profile and white plastic surrounding the speakers. While we can't vouch for the authenticity of the video, says MacRumors, it's worth noting that this Vietnamese website has a proven track record of obtaining Apple prototypes pre-release.
4 Double the storage
One of most iPhone customers's expects is a higher-capacity iPhone. Our dream may be going to come true. 1GB RAM will be compatable for iPhone 5. Through a "reliable source," it is said that the iPhone 5 will include a whopping 1GB of RAM and a voice-control system known as the Assistant.

5 6.4G LTE... and a better battery
The new iPhone will be equipped with 6.4G LTE capabilities. Though the previous 4S was expected to come with the technology, it sported the 3G-ish technology, HSPA+, instead.

6 A new dock adapter
As rumors of a smaller iPhone dock swirl around, iLounge reported that Apple has kept third-party accessory makers in the dark about its specs, essentially calling dibs on an adapter that users can buy to accommodate their old chargers with the new iPhone. Not only will the new iPhone sport an 8-pin connector, but also new iPad and iPod units will have it, too.

Do you know what? The new iPhone will debut with the exact same price as always! It is reported that the iPhone 5 may be initially offered at the same price as the iPhone 4S when it first debuted. The device will come with the familiar $199 to $399 price tag that is the same as last springs's iPhone. So if you're worried that you'll have to pay more for the brand new iteration, you can relax...for now, until tomorrow-the real iPhone 5 release date.
